the staff were friendly enough and my room was clean albeit basic, making it a convenient base for exploring nearby Arrow Valley Country Park, which is only a 15-minute walk away and perfect for a nice stroll or a relaxing afternoon in nature.

The Standard Double Room was decent. The bed was really comfortable, which was a plus. the room felt a little run down and wasn’t as nice as the photos. Parking was easy right outside the room, but it would have been better if the decor was updated. The heating was also complicated to figure out.
